Travelling by road via Hay or Hereford
A) Leave Hay Town Centre on the Brecon Road (B4350).
B) On the left you will pass the Festival site with a car park opposite on the right hand side.
Wye Meadow Camping lies behind that Car Park and along the Brecon Road to the next right turn..
C) Look out for the sign for Wye Meadow Camping (as above) on your right.
D) Take the next turning right down Gypsy Castle Lane. Please drive very carefully down this single track road. 250 yards down the lane you will find the main entrance to the campsite on the right hand side. Look out for the Wye Meadow Camping sign.
E) Please pull your vehicle up in the "waiting area", well away from the entrance to avoid traffic jams on the narrow lane. Then walk up to the temporary reception office and check in with a member of the Wye Meadow Camping Crew.
Travelling by road via Brecon or Talgarth
A) As you approach Hay but before you reach the Festival site turn left down Gypsy Castle Lane. You will have passed the signs for Llanigon on the right and the Holly Bush Inn on the left. Look out for the row of tall poplar trees on the left hand side. Gypsy Castle Lane follows soon after. Turn left before the sign for Wye Meadow Camping on the comer.
B) Then follow the instructions as above
Coming by public transport?
It may help to know that the Festival's shuttle bus from Hay Town centre stops immediately by the Festival main entrance. From there please make your way by foot down through the Meadows (as shown on map) and along Gypsy Castle Lane to meet up with the Wye Meadow Camping check-in crew stationed near to the motor vehicle entrance to the site on Gypsy Castle Lane.
